Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience:
Professor -> Ph.D. with first class in Master's or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of ten years' experience out of which at least 05 years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent grade in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research; and a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/ policy paper.
Associate Professor -> Ph.D. with first class in Master's or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of eight years' of experience of teaching and/ or research in an academic/ research position at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/ Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research; and a minimum of 5 publications as books and or research/ policy paper.
Assistant Professor -> Master's with 1st class or equivalent or B.Tech first class with Ph.D. in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. For Science and Humanities Group, NET/ SLET/ SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition. However, candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/ SET.
Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of ₹ 500/- (SC/ST candidates are exempted) in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of Director, NERIST and payable at SBI Nirjuli (Code No.9535) Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.
How to Apply: Interested candidates may submit the softcopy of their application in prescribed format through email to recruitment2016@nerist.ac.in. The email application should contain the main application format, the API score card, and the summary sheet. The last date of submitting application through email is 02/08/2016 up to 5.00 PM. The signed hard copy of the application along with certified copies of all certificates/ documents, two copies of recent passport size photograph (one should be pasted on the form), and Application Fee (DD) should reach the Registrar, NERIST, Nirjuli, PIN -791109, Arunachal Pradesh by Registered / Speed Post only. The postal cover superscribing the envelope as "Application for the post of _______". The Last Date of receipt of completed application is 02/08/2016 (5.00 PM).
