Heavy Vehicles Factory (HVF) unit of Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) invites applications from eligible Indian Candidates for engagement of 59th Batch (for Non-ITI & ITI candidates) of Trade Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act 1961 and amendments thereof in AVNL/HVF. The engaged apprentices shall be imparted training in the HVF - at Avadi, Chennai – 600054. The ITI and Non ITI candidates can apply in HVF prescribed application format only. The last date for submission of applications is 22nd June 2024.

✅ Age Limit:
Between 15 to 24 years for HVF Apprentice posts as on 22nd June 2024.
The Upper Age limit - 24 years for UR, 27 years for OBC, 29 years for SC / ST, +10 years relaxation for PH.
✅ Monthly Salary (Stipend):
✔️ Non ITI Apprenticeship Posts: For 1st year ₹ 5000/ ₹ 6000 and 2nd year ₹ 5500/ ₹ 6600 per month.
✔️ Ex-ITI Apprenticeship Posts: For 1 year Trade ₹ 7700/- and For 2 years Trade ₹ 8050 per month.
✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Non-ITI: Must have passed Madhyamik (Class X) or equivalent with at least 50% overall and 40% in Mathematics and Science.
✔️ ITI: Must have passed Madhyamik (Class X) or equivalent and the relevant trade test from an NCVT/SCVT-recognized institute with at least 50% marks, as per the Apprentice Act 1961.
✅ Selection Process:
Selection will be based on a merit list prepared separately for NON-ITI and EX-ITI categories.
✔️ NON-ITI: Merit list based on overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik (Class X) or equivalent, using the aggregate of all subjects or best of five subjects as per the 10th Board criteria. Original mark sheet required. Trades will be allotted on a Merit-cum-choice basis.
✔️ EX-ITI: Merit list prepared trade-wise, based on marks in Madhyamik and ITI (minimum 50% in ITI), using the percentage in the provisional/final ITI certificate.

✅ How to Apply:
To Apply for HVF Apprentice Vacancy 2024, the eligible candidates can apply using the application format on the AVNL website (avnl.co.in). Fill personal details in capital letters, matching Matriculation/ITI certificates.The Candidates are advised to indicate their active mobile number and valid e-mail ID in the Application and keep them active during the entire HVF engagement process. Attach a recent color photo (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm, taken within 3 months). Ensure the name on the Aadhaar card matches the certificates.
