North Eastern Railway Gorakhpur Recruitment 2014 Sports Quota (31 Vacancies)

Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Eastern Railway (NER) Employment Notification for recruitment of Group 'C' and Group 'D' Posts against Sports Quota 2014-15.

NER Railway Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) invites applications from talented and outstanding sports persons for recruitment Group C and D for fill up total 31 Vacancies. The last date for submission of application is 8th September 2014.

Corrigendum - In the Employment Notice No. NER/RRC/SQ/01/2014-15, Dated 09-08-2014 published in Employment News of 09-08-2014 to 15-08-2014 the post at SI. N0.-O8 under Swimming (Male), GP 2000/1900. Group 'C was wrongly mentioned as "Breast Stroke 800/1500 meter-01 Post". It may be corrected as "Free style 800/ 1500 meter-01 Post".

Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years as on 01-01-2015. No age relaxation is permissible.

Pay Scale: Pay Band-I, Rs.5200-20200/- for Group C and D Posts.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

(a) For the post having GP Rs.1800- Pass in Matriculation or ITI or its equivalent.
(b) For the post having GP Rs.1900 & 2000 - Pass in Matriculation/Equivalent or higher education.
(c) For the post having GP Rs.2400 (Technical) - Pass 10 + 2 stage in Higher Secondary in Science i.e. Maths or Physics or equivalent.
(d) For the post having GP Rs.2800 - A university Degree or its equivalent.

Examination Fee: The candidates have to send a crossed Indian Postal Order of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Senior Personnel officer /RRC, North Eastern Railway, payable at Gorakhpur. The fee exempted for all Women / SC / ST / Muslims / Christians / Sikhs / Buddhists / Zorastrians (Parsis) candidates.

How To Apply: Application complete in all respects should be sent in a cover addressed to "Senior Personnel officer /RRC, North Eastern Railway, CCM Annexe Building Railway Road No. 14, Gorakhpur-273012" so as to reach on or before 08/09/2014. Applications may also be dropped in the box kept in the RRC/NER Gorakhpur's Office, on any working day (Monday to Friday) between 09:30 hrs to 18:00 hrs on or before last date. Candidates belonging to Andaman, Nicobar & Lakshadweep Islands closing date would be 22/09/2014, time upto 18.00 hrs.
