Educational Qualifications:

Professor ->

(a) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned / relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers, of which at least five papers in NAAS rated/refereed journals in the previous cadre.
(b) A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent.
(c) A minimum of ten years of experience in teaching/ research/ extension of which at least a minimum of 2 years in the cadre of Associate Professor in the in the pay band of Rs.37400-67000 in university/college, and/or experience in research at the
University/National level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research.
(d) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology - mediated teaching learning process.
(e) A minimum score as stipulated in the prescribed Score Card.

Associate Professor ->

(a) Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned / relevant disciplines.
(b) A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent.
(c) A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching/research/ extension in the cadre of Assistant Professor or in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or National level institution with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers, of which at least three papers in NAAS rated / refereed journals in the previous cadre.
(d) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology - mediated teaching learning process with evidence of guiding candidates for research.
(e) A minimum score as stipulated in the prescribed Score Card.

Assistant Professor ->

(a) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or its equivalent at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from a recognized University.
(b) NET is compulsory along with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated refereed journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted. The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, ICAR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. Essentiality of NET can be waived-off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree
provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations 2009, and the candidate has at least two full length papers in journals having a NAAS rating not less than 4 on the last date of submission of application. Those
candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify for NET exemption.
(c) Ph.D. with course work is exempted for the post of Assistant Professor of Physical Education, Library Science, Computer Science, English and Statistics. However, the candidates must possess Ph.D. degree with at least two publications.
(d) NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for such Master's Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted. However, the candidates must possess Ph.D. degree with at least two publications.

Technical Assistant ->

(a) A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Horticulture / Agriculture from a recognized Horticultural / Agricultural University with good academic record with a minimum OGPA of 6.50/10.00 or CGPA of 2.25/4.00 or its equivalent or 55% of marks (where grade points are not in vogue).
(b) A relaxation of minimum OGPA from 6.50/10.00 to 6.00/10.00 and CGPA of 2.25/4.00 to 2.00/4.00 is provided for SC/ST category (55% to 50% of marks where grade points are not in vogue).

Pharmacist ->

(a) Must have passed SSLC.
(b) Must have a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University with a minimum of 3 years experience in a recognized Nursing Home/Hospital.
(c) Must have a record of good service.
(d) Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is desirable.

Stenographer ->

(a) Must have passed a degree of a recognized University.
(b) Must have passed Senior Type Writing in English and Kannada & Senior Shorthand Examination in English and Kannada conducted by the Board of Commercial Examination, Govt. of Karnataka.
(c) Must have good command in English and Kannada.

Assistant cum Computer Operator ->

(a) Must possess a degree of recognized University.
(b) Experience in computation work and experience in data compilation / computer course is desirable.

Field Assistant / Laboratory Assistant ->

(a) Must have passed SSLC (Matriculation)
(b) Must have completed 2 years course offered by Dept. of Horticulture / Agriculture or Allied Departments or Any Farm Universities along with computer knowledge as essential for the post.

Selection Process: Only short listed candidates based on order of merit in the essential qualification prescribed for the post will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:10 ( For skill based posts of Non-teaching, candidates in the ratio of 1:20 will be called for Practical/Written Test).

Application Fee: For Teaching Posts -> Rs.1000/-(SC/ST/Cat-I Rs. 500/- only); For Technical / Service Personnel posts -> Rs.600/- (SC/ST/Cat-I Rs.300/- only). The applicants have to obtain application pro-form and Bank Challan through the University website. The following processing fees should be paid through challan at any Branches of State Bank of India (SBI).
