National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Insects (NBAII under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)), Bangalore invites application for the post of Technical Assistant (Lab) for fill up One post. Educational Qualifications:
Essential - B.Sc.(Agriculture)/ B.Sc.(zoology) from a recognized University.
Desirable - (1) Aptitude for Systematic Entomology/Zoology. (2) Exposure to field survey and collection of insects, sorting, labelling, identification and maintenance of insect collections. Cataloguing and data basing of specimens. (3) General proficiency in Computer Operations.
Selection Process: Shorted listed candidates called for Written Examination / Test after due screening of applications.
Application Fee: Rs.200/- in the form of Demand Draft in favour of "ICAR Unit - A/c NBAII, Bangalore" payable at Bangalore.
How To Apply: Applications should be submitted in the prescribed proforma. Candidates are required to send attested copies of certificates, marks-sheets, caste certificate from the Competent Authority and other certificates etc., by a Gazetted Officer.
The envelope containing application should be superscripted as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF Technical Assistant (LAB) in the Grade of T-3". Last date for receipt of applications is 30 days (last Date – 15/06/2014) from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News, New Delhi. However a candidate from Far-flung areas of North Eastern States, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and Jammu & Kashmir, the last date of receipt of application is 45 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.
