ICRISAT Recruitment 2014 Scientist, Manager

International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) seeks applications from Indian nationals for recruitment of Visiting Scientist (Agronomy). Eligible Persons apply on or before 5th May 2014. The post is open for both internal and external candidates to apply.

(1) M.Sc. (Agriculture) with Ph. D. in Agronomy or related discipline with preferable 2-3 of post-doctoral experience.
(2) Must have good proficiency in English and communication skills;
(3) Evidence of good quality Publications in the area of agronomy.

Qualification & Experience: The candidate should have M.Sc in Science / Agriculture with a minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in handling watershed related projects or similar aspects which involves community participation and collective action. Incumbent should be well versed with different technologies of community mobilization, institutional arrangements in village/community level as well the person must have good proficiency in English writing and communication skills; knowledge of more Indian languages will be an added advantage. Candidate with evidence of good experience in the area of watershed management in different areas will be preferred.
