Educational Qualifications:
Deputy Director (Accts) ->
(1) CA/ICWA/CFA or MBA (First Class) with specialization in Financial Management from a recognized University/Institution.
(2) At least 5 years experience in supervisory capacity preferably in Finance/Accounts/Audit.
Deputy Director (Aud & Vig) ->
(1) CA/ICWA/CFA or MBA (First Class) with specialization in Financial Management from a recognized University/Institution.
(2) At least 5 years experience in supervisory capacity preferably in audit.
Scientist B (Plant Breeding) ->
(1) Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture with specialisation in Plant Breeding or Post Graduate Degree in Botany with specialisation in Plant Breeding/ Genetics/Taxonomy/Cytology/Plant physiology from a recognised university.
(2) Should have a 7 OGPA/10 or 70% marks in Post Graduation.
(3) Desirable - Doctorate Degree in Plant Breeding OR Three years' research experience in the above area of specialisation with supporting certificates/documents.
Scientist B (Chemistry) ->
(1) Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry (Pure Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Natural Product Chemistry) from a recognized university with minimum 7 OGPA out of 10 or 70% marks.
(2) Desirable - Doctorate Degree in Chemistry in any of the above discipline (OR) Three years' research experience in the field of quality control of agricultural products.
Statistical Assistant ->
(1) First Class Post Graduate Degree in Statistics/Agricultural Statistics from a recognized University.
(2) Computer knowledge and familiarity with software tool for statistical design/ analysis, word processing and Electronic worksheet.
Application Fee: A Non-refundable fee of Rs.200/- for SC, ST, PH, Ex-serviceman, Female candidates and Rs.400/- for others. Application fee has to be remitted only through Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Secretary, Spices Board payable at Cochin, Kerala.
Selection Process: An Offline Objective (MCQ) as well as Essay type
test followed by Group Discussion and/or presentations and/or interviews.
