West Bengal Health Recruitment Board (WBHRB) Kolkata invites Online applications from eligible Indian National candidates for recruitment of Medical Technologist Cadre of the West Bengal Sub-ordinate Health Services under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal. Diploma passed candidates are required to register online between 17th February 2014 to 10th March 2014.

Age Limit: 18 to 40 Years as on 1st January 2014. Age Relaxation 5 years for SC and ST candidates of West Bengal, by 3 years for BC candidates of West Bengal and up to 45 years of age for persons having physical disabilities for 40% and above.
Educational Qualifications:
Medical Technologist (Lab) ->
Essential - Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or it's equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two Year diploma course in Laboratory Technologist recognized in the Government of West Bengal. (OR) One year diploma course in Laboratory Technology from any University/ Institution recognized by the Government of West Bengal; where basic qualification for undergoing the said course is B.Sc.
Desirable - One year training after acquiring diploma in Laboratory Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Govt. Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical establishment Rules, 2003.
Medical Technologist [X-Ray (Radio diagnostics)] ->
Essential - Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or it's equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two Year diploma course in Radiography (Diagnostics) DRD (Tech) recognized in the Government of West Bengal.
Desirable - One year training after acquiring diploma in Radiography ( Diagnostics ) DRD (Tech) recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical establishment Rules, 2003. (OR) A Postgraduate diploma in Radiography (Diagnostics) DRD (Tech) from any recognized University.
Medical Technologist (ECG) ->
Essential - Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or it's equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two Year diploma in ECG Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
Desirable - One year training after acquiring diploma in ECG Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical establishment Rules, 2003. (OR) A Postgraduate diploma in ECG Technology from any recognized University. Note: The applicant must be a citizen of India or such a person of other nationality as declared eligible by Government of India. He/ She should have the ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in the case of Nepali speaking candidates of the three Hills sub-division of Darjeeling District- viz. Darjeeling sadar, Kalimpong & Kurseong).
Application Fee: Rs. 160/- pay though Online (Net Banking) or Offline through Bank Counter in any branch of Banks participating in the GRIPS (Govt. Receipt Portal System ), Govt. of West Bengal through duplicate challan, as generated after filling up the online application Form. Govt. Receipt Head of Account is '0051-00-104-002-16'.
