Selection Process: Written Test and Interview
Application Fee: A bank draft of Rs.200 (Rs.100 for candidates belonging to reserved categories) in favour of "Principal, Shyama Prasad Mukherji College, Delhi" should be attached with the prescribed application form. Candidates belonging to PwD category are exempted from payment of application fee.

Shyama Prasad Mukherji College (University of Delhi) New Delhi invites applications for recruitment of following Faculty posts (Assistant Professors) in various subjects. Eligible persons apply on or before 3rd March 2014.

Essential Qualifications:
For the posts of Assistant Professor(s) in Department of Education B.Ed. -> Master's Degree in Social Science with 55% marks, M.Ed, with 55% marks and NET Qualified (OR) M.A. in Education and B.Ed, each with minimum of 55% marks NET qualified B.EI.Ed.
Assistant Professor(s) other than the Department of Education ->
1. Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree Level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Persons with Disability viz. physically and visually disabled or those who passed their Master's degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph.D. degree or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master's degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Application Fee: Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 250/- (for General / OBC) and Rs. 100/- (for SC/ST/ PwD) in favour of Principal, Shyama Prasad Mukherji College payable at Delhi.
