Bokaro Power Supply Company Private Limited (BPSCL) Bokaro (Jharkhand State) recruitment for the posts of Operator-cum-Technician / Attendant-cum-Technician. Eligible candidates apply online from 2nd December 2013 to 2nd January 2014.
About: Bokaro Power Supply Company (P) Ltd. (BPSCL) - A Joint Venture of Steel Authority of India Limited and Damodar Valley Corporation), situated in Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand, has present capacity of 302 MW power generation and 1880 TPH steam generation. Its capacity is being enhanced by setting up of 9th Boiler with 36 MW power generation and 300TPH steam generation capacity, which is in project stage. The Company also plans to expand further by setting up a 2X250 MW Power Plant.

Age Limit: 18 to 28 Years as on 01/10/2013.
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates; 3 years for OBC candidates; In the case of Persons with Disability category, maximum age is relaxable by 10 years for General, 15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC candidates.
Emoluments & Scale of Pay:
Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) -> Consolidated pay of Rs.10700/- per month for the 1st year and Rs.12200/- per month for the 2nd year of training. On successful completion of training, they shall be considered for regular employment in S-3 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs.9160-3%-13150/-
Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) -> Consolidated pay of Rs.8600/- per month for the 1st year and Rs.10000/- per month for the 2nd year of training. On successful completion of training, they shall be considered for regular employment in S-1 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs.8630-3%-12080/-
Educational Qualifications:
Operator-cum-Technician -> Three years full time Diploma in Engineering from Government recognized Institute in following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical.
Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) -> Matriculation with ITI(Full time) passed from Government recognized Institute in the following trades: Fitter, Electrician.
Selection Process: Written Test in Hindi/ English. Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be required to appear in the Interview.
Application / Processing Fee: Rs.250/- for the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee); Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred & Fifty only) for the post of Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee). Candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs.50/- as Bank Charges. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category will be required to pay only processing fee of Rs.50/- for the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) / Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee).
