Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) issued recruitment advertisement for the post of Scientific Officer (in DNA unit), Group-B of Odisha Forensic Science Service cadre under Home Department. Eligible candidates are required to apply online on or before 7th December 2013.

Age Relaxation: 5 years for the candidates belonging to the categories of S.C., S.T., Socially & Educationally Backward Classes (S.E.B.C.), Women, Ex-servicemen and by 10 years for candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped category, whose disability should not be less than 40%.
Educational Qualifications: Master's Degree from a recognized University with 60% of the aggregate marks in Bio-Technology or Zoology with Molecular Biology as special paper or Zoology with Cytogenetics or Bio-Chemistry.
Application Fee: A Non-refundable fee of Rs.200/- . Candidates belonging to SC/ST of Odisha & persons with disability (whose disability is not less than 40%) are exempted from payment of this fee. The last dale for payment of application fee - 07/12/2013.
Selection Process: The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will be made on the basis of career assessment and Viva Voce (Interview).
