Educational Qualifications:
Technician -> Matriculate with one year certificate in Agriculture / Horticulture from recognized Institution with minimum percentage of makrs in Educational / Technical qualifications: i) General & OBC candidates - 55%; ii) SC/ST candidates - 50%. Desirable - Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Technical Assistant -> Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/ Life Sciences from a recognized University with minimum percentage of makrs in Educational qualifications: i) General & OBC candidates - 55%; SC/ST candidates - 50%. Desirable - Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Technical Assistant (Stat.) -> Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with Statistics as one of the main subject from recognized Institution with minimum 50% marks. Desirable - i) Post Graduate degree in Statistics or Economics from a recognized University. ii) Diploma/short course in statistics (at least 6 months duration) from a reputed Institution. iii) Working knowledge of MS office and statistical software(s).
Technical Assistant (Hindi Translator) -> Bachelor's degree in Hindi as a subject from a recognized University, with three years' experience in Science writing and Science journalism in the concerned language as evidenced by published material. Desirable - i) Master Degree in Hindi or English. ii) Diploma in journalism. iii) English as one of the subject at Bachelor's level.
Age Limit: 18-30 years. 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates. No upper age limit for I.C.A.R. employees.
