Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recruitment examination notification for Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination, 2014 (SCRA 2014) – the exam will be held on 12th January, 2014 in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board). The approximate number of vacancies (42) to be filled on the results of the examination.

Minimum Educational Qualification: Must have passed in the first or second division, the Higher Secondary (12 years) Examination under 10+2 pattern of School Education with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. OR Degree / Diploma or equivalent qualification with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry.
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by Cash, or by using net banking facility of SBL State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.the Fee excepting for Female/SC/ST/PH candidates.
