South Eastern Railway (SER) Centralized Notification for recruitment of Sports Quota 2013-14. SER invites prescribed form applications from sportspersons for filling up of Group “C” (21 Vacancies) and Erstwhile Group-"D" posts (10 Vacancies) for Head Quarter unit and Erstwhile Group "D" posts (23 Vacancies) for Divisional/Workshop Unit in different Grade Pay: Rs.2800/- , Rs.2000/-Or Rs.1900/- and Rs.1800/-(Gr. D Erstwhile) in Scale PB-1: Rs.5200-20200/- against the different Sports disciplines

Minimum Educational Qualifications:
a) For the post having GP Rs.2800/- A University Degree or its equivalent.
b) For the post having GP Rs.1900/- & Rs.2000/- Pass in Matric or its equivalent.
c) For the post having GP Rs.1800/- Pass in Matric or ITI Or its equivalent.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 Yeats as on 01.01.2014. No relaxation in lower or upper age limit is permissible for any category of candidates.

Head Quarter Unit: GP Rs.2800/- posts are Athletics (Men),Badminton(Women),)Boxing (Men),Hockey (Women),Power Lifting (Women). GP Rs.1900/- & 2000/- posts are Water Polo (Men),)Badminton(Women),Ball Badminton(Men),Bridge (Men),Cricket (Men),Gymnastics(Men),Hockey(Women),Table Tennis(Women),kabaddi (Women),Volleyball (Men),Volleyball (Women). GP Rs.1800/- posts are Swimming(Men),Billiard & Snooker (Men),Boxing (Men),Football (Men),Golf (Men),Gymnastics(Men),Kabaddi (Women),Rifle Shooting (Men/Women).
Divisions/Workshop Unit: GP Rs.1800/- posts are Cricket(Men),) Football (Men),Badminton(Men),Boxing (Men),Chess(Men/Women),Volleyball (Men),Hockey (Women),Volleyball (Men),Chess(Men),Cricket (Men).
Selection Process: Conduct of Trial, Interview and Documents Verification.
Examination Fee: A Non-refundable fee Rs.100/- in the form of Band Draft / Indian Postal Order for unreserved and OBC candidates. No fee for SC / ST, Women, Minorities & Economically backward class candidates.
How To Apply: Prescribed format of Application in A4 size paper duly filled in by the candidates own handwriting, duly accompanying with attested photo copies of all certificates and Two passport size photograph (one to be pasted in the space of the application form and other to be clipped with the application form). Completed application reach to respective Offices (Check out Official Advt.) on or before 28/10/2013 at 18.00 hrs (For Far-flung area candidates last date is 12/11/2013 at 18:00 Hrs.) Candidates should write the "name of the event, category applied for and post applied for" in block letters at the top of envelope which should be super scribed: "Application for recruitment against Sports Quota-2013-14."
