Educational Qualifications:
OCTT - Matriculation with 03 years full time Diploma in relevant discipline of Engineering (Metallurgy/ Mechanical/ Electrical/Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Chemical).
ACTT - Matriculation with ITI (Full time) in relevant trades (Fitter/ Electrician/ Welder/ Machinist/ Electronics/ Diesel Mechanic).
Physical Standards: (Eye Sight - 6/12 with or without glass. Power of glasses not to exceed (+,-) 04.0 D.; Colour Vision - Normal (Colour blindness will be a disqualification))

Selection Process: Written Test in Hindi/ English. Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be required to appear in the Interview. Date, Time & Place of Written Test and Interview will be intimated to eligible/short-listed candidates through e-mail / SMS and SAIL website. (Written Test – Rourkela, Sambalpur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack)
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates; 3 years for OBC candidates; In the case of Persons with Disability category, maximum age is relaxable by 10 years for GENERAL, 15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC candidates.
Application Fee: Rs.250/- for the post of OCTT; Rs.150/- for the post of ACTT. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/ESM category will be required to pay processing fee of Rs.50/- for the post of OCTT & ACTT. In addition to the application / processing fee as above, candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs.20/- as Bank Charges.
