Minimum Educational Qualification with Experience:
1. Assistant Engineer (Civil) - Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade with at least 1 (one) year experience in Design/Construction/Project Management/O & M/a Post Graduate Degree.
2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) - Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade with at least 1 (one) year experience in Design/Construction/Project Management/O & M/a Post Graduate Degree.
3. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) - Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade with at least 1 (one) year experience in Design/Construction/Project Management/O & M/a Post Graduate Degree.
4. Assistant Planner - (i) Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Town /Regional/Transportation Planning and (ii) Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized
University or Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
5. Technical Assistant (Civil) - Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/Institution approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade with at least 1 (one) year experience in Construction/Supervision/Management/O & M after obtaining Diploma.
6. Technical Assistant (Electrical) - Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/Institution approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade with at least 1 (one) year experience in Construction/Supervision/Management/O & M after obtaining Diploma.
7. Technical Assistant (Mechanical) - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/Institution approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade with at least 1 (one) year experience in Construction/Supervision/Management/O & M after obtaining Diploma.
Age Limit: 18 to 32 Years as on 01/01/2013.
Selection Process: Preliminary Test, Written Test, Skill Test and Interview.

Town Planner - (1) Bachelor Degree in Architecture with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized university and (2) Master Degree in Town Planning / Regional Planning/ Urban Planning/ Housing / Town & /Regional Planning from any recognized university.One year work experience in any company of repute/ Govt. or Semi Govt. organization.
CA-cum-Stenographer - (1) B.A.(English Hons.) or equivalent with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized university and (2) course in Stenography from any recognized institute.

Educational Qualifications:
Junior Assistant - Passed in Madhyamik Examination/ School Final from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.

Assistant Surveying Valuer - Must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute approved by the West Bengal State Council for Technical Education/State Government.
Field Officer - Must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute approved by the West Bengal State Council for Technical Education/State Government.
