Assam Rifles Recruitment October 2012 Havildar Clerk and Warrant Officer (356 Vacancies)

Assam RiflesAssam Rifles recruitment rally will be held at Jorhat (Assam), NRS-Jorhat Town from 10 December 2012 onwards for enrolment to 356 vacancies (male candidates) of following posts.

10+2 or equivalent with English & Mathematics. Short hand speed 80 words per minute and typing speed 40 words per minute.

10+2 or equivalent with English & Mathematics. Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi

Age Limit: Between 18 to 23 years as on 1st Aug 2012. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.

Scale of Pay: Pay scale and other allowances will be as admissible to Assam Rifles Personnel.

Physical Standards:

Height. Minimum height of candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J & K will be 165 cms. The minimum height for Scheduled Tribes will be 162.5 cms.

Chest. The minimum chest of candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J & K will be 78 cms (minimum 5 cms expansion). The minimum chest for all candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes will be 76 cms (minimum 5 cms expansion).

Others. 170 cms (Height), 80-85 cms (Chest) & Weight according to height and age.

Application Fee: Demand Draft for Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) in favour of the Directorate General Assam Rifles payable at SBI DGAR, Shillong, Code No. 7338.
