Age Limit: 18 to 40 Years as on 01/01/215. Age Relaxation as per Reservation rules of UP Govt.
Scale of Pay: PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 ; Grade Pay- Rs. 4200; Dearness and other allowances admissible as per rules of UPPCL.
Eligibility: Candidates should have Knowledge of Hindi (Devnagri Script). If the candidates has not passed High School or equivalent examination in Hindi, he/she has to clear an exam conducted by the Registrar, Department Examination Govt of U.P. with 3 Years of Joining.
Selection Process: Computer Based Test (CBT) and Interview.
Computer Based Test -> The Test will be held at Allahabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Agra, Kanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, and Meerut cities. The test shall be of total 200 marks and shall comprise of total 200 questions, out of which 150 questions shall be from the Diploma level Engineering Branch syllabus for the Post applied, 20 questions of General Knowledge/Awareness, 20 questions of Reasoning and 10 questions of General Hindi. Each correct answer shall carry one mark each and each wrong answer shall carry negative mark of 0.25.
Interview -> Shortlisted candidates based on CBT Test will be called for Interview. The Interview carrying 25 marks will be conducted at Lucknow only.
Application Fee: A Non-Refundable fee of Rs.700/- for SC (Domicile Of U.P.) CATEGORY/ST (Domicile Of U.P.) Category; Online Processing fee Rs.10/- for Handicapped Candidates. Rs.1000/- for General / OBC and other state U.P. State Category candidates. The fee can be paid through Online Mode (ATM cum Debit Card / Credit Card / SBI Net Banking) OR Offline Mode (Bank Challan Form payable at State Bank of India SBI).
