✅ Educational Qualifications:
✔️ Assistant Professor: Post Graduate degree in relevant discipline with a minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade). The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission.
✔️ Professional Assistant: M.Lib. with B.Lib. Sciences with 50% marks at PG Level OR M.A./ M.Com/ M.Sc. with B.Lib. Sciences with 50% marks at PG Level. Course in Computer Application at Graduate/PG level or Six months Computer course from a recognized institutions. Minimum 02 years relevant experience.
✔️ Laboratory Assistant: Graduation with Psychology as a subject (OR) Graduation in Science Subjects/Computer Applications/Information Technology.
✔️ Junior Assistant: Second Class Graduate with at least six months of training on the use of Computer for Office Automation, Book keeping and word processing from a certified Institution (OR) Second Class Graduate with Diploma in Computer recognized by AICTE/ Recognized institutions. Typing and Computer Test shall be conducted and will only be of qualifying nature: English Typing @ 30 W.P.M. / Hindi Typing @ 25 W.P.M. (Time allowed -10 mts).
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ ₹ 1000/- for UR/OBC Category applicants for teaching posts.
✔️ ₹ 500/- for the non-teaching posts.
✔️ The fee must be paid through a Demand Draft only drawn in favour of “Principal, Vasanta College for Women” payable at Varanasi.

✔️ For Assistant Professors: Accordance with the UGC regulations 2018 and their subsequent amendments.

✅ Educational Qualification and Experience:
✔️ For Assistant Professors:
(1) Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/ relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
(2) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations,2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
✔️ For Administrative Officer: Good Academic record plus Master’s Degree (Post Graduate) with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7th point scale.
✔️ For Lab Assistant: Graduation with Psychology as a subject (OR) B.Sc Degree in Computer Applications/ Information Technology.
