BSF Tradesman Recruitment Age Limit

For Tradesman Constable Posts, the age requirement is between 18 to 25 years as of the closing date. Age relaxation of up to 5 years is applicable for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

BSF Tradesman Salary

BSF Constable Tradesman Recruitment offers a Pay Scale of Pay Matrix Level-3, with a pay scale ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 as per the 7th CPC (Revised Pay Structure).

BSF Tradesman Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

✔️ For trades of Constable (Cobbler), Constable (Tailor), Constable (Washerman), Constable (Barber) and Constable (Sweeper):

(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;
(b) Must be proficient in respective trade;
(c) Must qualify trade test in the respective trade conducted by recruitment board.

✔️ For the trades of Constable(Cook), Constable(Water Carrier) and Constable(Waiter):

(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;
(b) National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) level-I Course in food production or Kitchen from National Skill Development Corporation or from the Institutes recognized by National Skill Development Corporation.

BSF Tradesman Exam 2024 Details

The question paper will contain one objective type paper comprising 100 questions, each carrying 100 marks. All questions will be of the objective multiple-choice type. The standard of the questions will be appropriate for a candidate who has passed the class-10th examination. The Candidates must correctly fill out the OMR Answer Sheet using a blue or black ballpoint pen, following the instructions provided on the OMR Answer Sheet. The exam duration is 2 and Half Hours.

How to Apply BSF Tradesman Recruitment 2024

Candidates must apply online through the official BSF website (www.bsf.gov.in) for Constable Tradesman Vacancies. To register, complete a one-time profile by providing your complete information step by step. This one-time profile is necessary for all future BSF jobs.

Candidates must possess a valid email ID and mobile number for registration and profile creation. Carefully fill in all required information in the profile and save it using the save button. All candidates must upload a scanned copy of recent photographs, signatures, thumb impressions, and any other supporting documents with specified size limits (maximum 50 KB each).
