Minimum Sports Eligibility:
(1) GP Rs.2800/- -> Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Category-A) OR At least 3rd position in any of the Category-B
Championships/Events.
(2) GP Rs.1900/- -> Represented the Country in any of the Category-B Championships/Events. OR At least 3rd position in any of the Category-C Championships/Events. OR At least 3rd position in Senior / Youth/Junior National Championships. OR At least 3rd position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association. OR At least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. OR 1st Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
(3) GP Rs.1800/- -> Represented the country in any of the Category-C Championships/Events. OR At Least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category) OR Represented a State of equivalent Unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country, in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships. OR At least 3rd position in Senior State Championships for all Units and Districts of the State.

Selection Process: Sports Trial, Interview and Certificate Verification
Application Fee: Rs. Rs.100/- only for UR and OBC candidates should submit with the application in Indian Postal Order/Bank Demand Draft (issued after the date of this notification) drawn in favour of FA&CAO, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Payable at Chittaranjan. The SC/ST, ex-servicemen, physically challenged, women, minority candidates (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists & Zorastrians [Parsis]) and candidates belonging to economically backward classes (whose family income is less than Rs.50,000/- per annum) need not pay this fee.
How To Apply: Fill up the application in the prescribed format on good quality A-4 size white paper. All columns of application should be filled up by the candidate in his/her own handwriting in English/Hindi using blue/black ball point pen. Applicant should Paste one recent passport size colour photograph (not earlier
than three months) on the space provided in the application form. Applicant should enclose with the application a set of legible Xerox copies of all certificates, in proof of Educational Qualification, Age, SC/ST/OBC etc.

Educational Qualifications:

(a) 2nd Class Master Degree in concerned subject.
(b) Must have University Degree/ Diploma in Education/teaching or integrated two years Post Graduate Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT. (c) Competence to teach through the medium of instruction mentioned.
Craft Teacher ->
(a) Higher Secondary /Intermediate from Recognized Board/University.
(b) Two years Diploma Certificate of training in the concerned trade (viz. Computer Aided, Embroidery & Needle Work, Cutting & Sewing, Dress making, Fashion Technology, Photography, Weaving of Silk and Wooden Fabrics, Drawing & Painting), from ITI/any recognized Institution.
(c) Preferably two years professional experience in any Govt. Institution or a concern of repute.
(d)competent to teach through the medium of instruction mentioned.
PRT ->
(a) Sr.Secondary(or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years
Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) -OR- Sr.Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 years diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) ,in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure)-Regulations,2002. -OR- Sr.Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). -OR- Sr.Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks & 2-years Diploma in Education (special Education).-OR- Graduation and two year Diploma in elementary Education(by whatever name known). - AND —
(2) Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test(TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Govt.in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
