Educational Qualifications:
Professor/Professor Jr. Grade ->
(i) As Associate Professor in the subject concerned for three years in the recognized medical college/Institute. (After MD/MS 14/10 years teaching and/or research experience from recognized medical college/Institute.)
(ii) Minimum of four research publications in Index/national journals out of which 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor.
Associate Professor ->
(i) As Assistant Professor in the concerned subject for four years in a recognized medical college/ Institute. (After MD/MS 6 years teaching and/or research experience from recognized medical college/ Institute.)
(ii) Minimum of two Research publications in index/national journals during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.
Assistant Professor ->
(i) Recognized postgraduate (MD/MS./MDS/Ph.D) qualification in the subject.
(ii) Three years post PG. teaching and/or research experience from recognized medical college/Institute.
Lecturer ->
(i) Requisite Recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject.
(ii) Three years experience as Resident/Demonstrator from recognized medical college/Institute.
Medical Superintendent ->
(1) A Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule of the said Act, shall also fulfill the conditions specified in Sub-section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act. aforesaid).
(2) A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D./M.S. or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto preferably in Hospital Administration.
(3) Sixteen years experience in the profession or 12 years experience after obtaining the postgraduate degree.
(4) Extensive practical and administrative experience.
