Educational Qualification: 03 yeas Bachelors Degree/ 02 years Masters degree in the following fields: Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, Communication, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Computer Applications, Data Sciences, Computer Sciences and allied fields. The degree should be obtained from any University/ Institution recognized by the Central/State Government and/ or approved by AICTE/UGC. Alternatively, candidates with an Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) (Section A and B) in Computer Science are also eligible.
Driving Skills: Possession of a valid driving license for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers is mandatory for male candidates of all categories at the time of submitting the online application.
Computer Skills: Successful completion of an ICT course is mandatory at the entry level.

Chandigarh Police Constable Exam Date 2024:
The tentative date for the Chandigarh Police Constable IT Exam is March 3, 2024. The tentative schedule for the Physical Efficiency & Measurement Test (PEMT) is slated for the end of March 2024.
Chandigarh Police Constable Exam Syllabus:
Tier-I Test: The test shall carry 100 marks. The questions will be of the multiple-choice objective type, with one mark awarded for every correct answer and a negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect answer. The test will include questions on General Knowledge/ Current Affairs, Reasoning, and Numerical Ability.
Tier-II Test: This test, carrying 50 marks, will assess candidates' proficiency in the domain specialization of "IT Support". The questions will be of the multiple-choice objective type, with one mark for each correct answer and a negative marking of 0.25 for each incorrect answer. The question paper for the written test will be provided in Hindi, English, and Punjabi. Each candidate will receive the test paper only in the language selected during the application process, and no change of medium will be permitted.
