- Educational Qualification: Passed 12th (+2 stage) with minimum 50% marks from recognized Board (not required for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen); OR Matriculation + Course Completed Act Apprenticeship; OR Matriculation + ITI (NCVT/SCVT approved).
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years for UR candidates. Relaxation: +05 years for SC/ST; +03 years for OBC-NCL; +10/13/15 years for PwBD (UR/OBC/SC-ST); other relaxations for Ex-Servicemen, Widows etc. as per notification.
- Candidates must possess the required cultural talent in Theatre Acting (Male) or Harmonium Playing as applicable.

- Written Test / CBT (Objective MCQs): General Awareness, Mathematics, Mental Ability, Music/Singing – 50 Marks, Duration 60 Minutes, Negative Marking 1/3rd. Minimum 40% to qualify.
