✅ BRIC CDFD Scientist Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Scientist – V: Ph.D. in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Computational Biology/Pharmaceutical Sciences/Molecular Biology/Agricultural Sciences/Plant Sciences or related disciplines; or Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology (Chemical/Biomedical/Pharmaceutical); or M.D./MDS/MVSc + Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in research/teaching/industry with high-quality publications. Age: Not exceeding 45 years.
- Scientist – IV: Same essential qualification as above + Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.
- Scientist – III: Ph.D. in the relevant disciplines as mentioned above (or M.D./MDS/MVSc). Age: Not exceeding 35 years.
- Areas of Interest: All areas of modern biology including Plant Genetics, Chemical Biology, Cancer Biology, Disease Biology, Infection Biology, Immunology, Microbiology, Synthetic Biology etc.
- Age limit calculated as on the last date of application. Reservation as applicable for EWS and OBC-NCL.

✅ BRIC CDFD Scientist Recruitment 2026 Selection Process:
Selection for the posts of Scientists shall be made based on two rounds of interviews.
- Eligible candidates will be shortlisted by the Screening Committee based on the advertised terms.
- All the screened in candidates may be requested to send an audio recorded PPT presentation detailing their ongoing research areas and future plans etc.
- These presentations may be evaluated by the Preliminary Selection Committee and further shortlist the candidates to be called for final interviews by the Selection Committee.
