✅ Udupi CSL Supervisor 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Supervisor (Nesting): Three-year Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Marine/ Civil/ Electronics and Communication/ Computer/ Automobile Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education.
- Supervisor (Mechanical): Three-year Diploma in Mechanical/ Marine Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education.
- Experience: Minimum of seven years Post-qualification experience in the relevant area (Nesting/Plate Processing/CNC Cutting/Production Planning/CAD-CAM for Nesting; Piping/Machinery/Structural outfitting for Mechanical) in Ship Building, Ship Repair, Offshore Fabrication, Marine related Engineering company or Government/Semi-Government Company/Establishment. Out of seven years, at least two years of experience shall be in a Supervisory grade. Experience is reckoned as on 28 October 2026.
- Desirable: Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office, SAP.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit shall not exceed 45 years as on 28 October 2026 (applicants should be born on or after 29 October 1981). Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates in post reserved for them. Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen as per Government of India guidelines. All age relaxations are subject to a maximum age of 50 years.
✅ Udupi CSL Supervisor 2026 Pay Scale & Emoluments:
- Grade and Pay Scale: S1 – ₹28,000-3%-1,10,000
- Monthly Emoluments (approx. as on date): Basic pay ₹28,000 + DA (55.7%) ₹15,596 + HRA (10%) ₹2,800 + Perks & Allowances (35%) ₹10,500 = Total ₹56,896
- Other benefits include National Pension System, Contributory Provident Fund, Accident Insurance coverage, Reimbursement of Medical expenses under the Contributory Medical Insurance policy, leave encashment, etc. as admissible.
- Selected candidates shall be placed in the minimum of the pay scale. Pay protection will not be considered. Posting shall be at Udupi CSL, Malpe or any other Udupi CSL units/project sites. Candidates are liable to be transferred within different units of Udupi CSL or anywhere in India or abroad as per requirement.
✅ Udupi CSL Supervisor 2026 Selection Process:
- Phase I: Offline Written test (Objective Type Test – 40 Marks & Descriptive Type Test – 40 Marks)
- Phase II: Power Point presentation on work experience (20 Marks)
Objective Type Test: 45 minutes duration, 40 questions (General Knowledge 5, General English 5, Reasoning 5, Quantitative Aptitude 5, Discipline related 20). Each question carries one mark. No negative marks.
Descriptive Type Test: 90 minutes duration, 40 marks, comprising of discipline-related questions.
Minimum Pass Marks: 50% of Total Marks for Unreserved Post; 40% of Total Marks for ST Candidates.
Phase II (Power Point Presentation) shall be of duration not more than ten minutes highlighting the work experience of candidates. Rank lists will be prepared based on total marks secured in Phase I & Phase II. Shortlisting for certificate verification will be done in the order of merit.
✅ Udupi CSL Supervisor 2026 Application Fee:
- Application fee of ₹400/- (non-refundable, plus bank charges extra) to be remitted using online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking) through the online application facility from 07 October 2026 to 28 October 2026.
- Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) need not pay the application fee. They are exempted from payment of the application fee.
- No other mode of payment shall be accepted. Candidature shall be considered only on receipt of the application fee (where applicable).
