✅ RITES DGM Architect Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Essential Qualification: Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a University / Institution recognised as prescribed in the advertisement. AICTE-recognised degree, or Sections A & B of the Institution of Engineers (India) treated as equivalent to a degree, will be accepted.
- Marks: UR / EWS candidates, and candidates applying against unreserved posts, should have first class / minimum 60% marks. Reserved category candidates applying against reserved posts should have at least 50% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 11 years of post-qualification experience, out of which minimum 09 years in planning, design and execution of multi-storeyed Educational, Residential / Industrial / Convention Centres / Museums / Railway Station / Air Concourse Buildings, Pre-engineered steel buildings, Landscape and Interior designing projects.
- Desirable: Master’s Degree in Architecture, and working knowledge of BIM and 3D visualization software such as SketchUp, Lumion and Enscape.
- Training (except on-the-job training), internship, teaching, academic, fellowship and PhD research experience will not be counted. Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the relevant discipline may be counted, subject to other conditions.
Experience condition by sector:
- Central / State Government / PSU / Autonomous Organisation candidates following IDA / CDA scales should have worked for at least 2 years in IDA pay scale of ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000 or CDA Level-11 of the 7th CPC, along with total experience of 11 years. This 2-year residency is not required if the candidate is already in the same or a higher pay scale.
- Private sector candidates should have total experience of 11 years and an annual CTC of at least ₹24.10 LPA as on the last date of application.
✅ RITES DGM Architect 2026 Selection Process:
- Document Scrutiny: Uploaded documents will be scrutinised. Eligible candidates will be called for verification of original documents.
- Interview: 100% weightage. Technical and Professional proficiency – 65%. Personality, Communication and Competency – 35%.
- Minimum qualifying marks in interview: 60% for UR / EWS, and 50% for SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / PwD against reserved posts.
- Interview may be taken in Hindi or English.
- Appointment is subject to medical fitness as per RITES standards.
No TA / DA will be paid. Hard copies are not to be sent by post. Original documents must be produced if called for document verification.
