Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC-NCL, plus other GoI relaxations as applicable.

Selection is based on interview. If applications are large in number, SAC will shortlist candidates on academic record and specialisation.

The shortlist and interview schedule will be published on the SAC website. Call letters will be emailed only to shortlisted candidates. The panel will be prepared on interview performance only.
Tenure: JRF – initially 1 year, maximum 5 years. RA – initially 1 year, maximum 3 years. PS-I – initially 1 year or till project duration; co-terminus with the project.
✅ ISRO SAC Recruitment 2026 Salary / Fellowship:
- JRF (1st & 2nd year): ₹37,000 per month + HRA
- JRF (subsequent years): ₹42,000 per month + HRA
- Project Scientist-I: ₹56,000 per month + HRA
- RA Level 1 / 2 / 3: ₹58,000 / ₹61,000 / ₹67,000 per month + HRA
- Medical facility for self only; HRA if hostel is not provided. No regular-employee concessions.
