✅ IPA Consultant Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Full-time Master’s Degree or above from a reputed Indian or International University in Economics, Public Policy, Maritime, Trade, Transport Management, International Relations, or related subjects.
- Experience: Senior Consultant – Minimum 5 years of full-time work experience after essential qualification. Consultant – Minimum 3 years of full-time work experience after essential qualification.
- Preferred Experience: Meaningful experience of working with International Organizations (UN etc.), Government systems (GoI Ministries/Departments/Organizations, State Government, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies), or a reputed think tank / research institution / private sector organization.
- Other Requirements: Strong writing and analytical skills, experience in research and knowledge products (articles, journals, think-tank/university publications), professional proficiency in English, and high proficiency in digital tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AI-enabled research tools).
- Age Limit: 25 to 45 years as on the last date of application submission (18.09.2026).
✅ IPA Consultant Remuneration 2026:
- Senior Consultant: ₹15 Lakh per annum (fixed monthly remuneration)
- Consultant: ₹12 Lakh per annum (fixed monthly remuneration)
- No change in remuneration will be considered during the initial 2-year period. Engagement is purely contractual and full-time under the Indian Ports Association Contract Employment Policy, 2025.
- Leave: 1 day paid leave per completed month (no accumulation beyond the calendar year).
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical briefs, position papers, interventions, meeting outcomes and speaking notes for global forums and bilateral engagements.
- Monitor and drive implementation of international cooperation mandates under Maritime India Vision 2030, Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047, Agreements/MoUs and other bilateral agreements.
- Track developments on international trade corridors such as IMEC, Eastern Maritime Corridor, Northern Sea Route, INSTC, and assist in activation of India’s Green and Digital Shipping Corridors (GDSC).
- Organize high-level business roundtables and investment summits; draft briefing notes, speaking points, presentations and correspondence.
- Produce well-researched and data-driven knowledge products (research pieces, articles, journals, etc.).
- Attend seminars/conferences and submit summary notes, and perform any other task assigned by the IC Division.
