Essential: Post Graduate (M.Sc.) in Genetics and Plant Breeding / Seed Science and Technology / Plant Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry, or Graduate degree in relevant agricultural / crop science. Desirable: Experience in breeding of grasses, crossing techniques and cytology of grasses. Work includes breeding and cytology of grasses, phenotyping for fodder yield, screening for abiotic stress and biochemical analysis for fodder quality. |
Age limit is 21 to 45 years. Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 5 years for OBC (NCL) and 10 years for PwBD candidates, as per Government rules.
