Selection will be through open competitive written examination and qualifying skill tests, as applicable to each post.

Junior Stenographer: OMR / CBT written exam (200 questions, 2 hours; Reasoning 50, GA 50, English 100; 0.25 negative mark) + qualifying stenography test (10 minutes dictation at 80 w.p.m.). Merit on written exam among proficiency-qualified candidates.

Junior Secretariat Assistant: Paper-I Mental Ability (qualifying) + Paper-II General Awareness & English + qualifying typing / computer proficiency test. Merit on Paper-II.

Junior Hindi Translator: Paper-I objective (qualifying threshold) + Paper-II descriptive (paragraph, precis and translation; 300 marks). Final merit on Paper-II only.
