- Educational Qualification (Common for all posts): Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Technology/Computer Science / Degree in Engineering in Computer Applications / Information Technology / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation OR Post Graduate Degree in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation / Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications from a recognized University/Institute.
- Minimum Marks: 60% (UR/EWS) | 50% (Reserved categories) in the qualifying degree.
- Experience (as on 24.08.2026):
- Deputy General Manager (RG/13/26): 11 years post-qualification experience (minimum 5 years in relevant Job Description – large IT/digital transformation programs, multi-vendor management, Agile/Waterfall, stakeholder management with Govt. bodies).
- Senior Manager – Cyber Security Expert (RG/14/26): 8 years post-qualification experience (minimum 6 years in Cyber Security – VAPT, SIEM, IAM, MFA, ISO 27001, NIST, CERT-In, DevSecOps etc.).
- Manager – API Developer (RG/15/26): 5 years post-qualification experience in REST APIs, microservices, API security, documentation & Agile environment.
- Age Limit (as on 24.08.2026): Maximum 41 / 38 / 35 years respectively for the three posts. Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC (NCL) – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years, RITES employees – 5 years (as per rules).

- Senior Manager (Cyber Security) & Manager (API Developer): Written Test → Document Scrutiny → Interview
Written Test Pattern (for RG/14/26 & RG/15/26): 125 Objective type questions (1 mark each), Duration 2.5 hours, No negative marking. Minimum qualifying marks: 50% (UR/EWS) | 45% (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD). Compensatory time of 50 minutes for PwBD candidates.
