✅ CPCB Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Scientist-D (01 Post | Age: 50 Years): First class Master’s in Environmental Science/Natural Science OR First Class B.E./B.Tech (Environmental/Chemical/Civil/Energy & Environment/Biotechnology) + Cumulative impact factor ≥10 (UGC Care/Scopus) OR Minimum 5 Books/Chapters (ISBN) OR Minimum 5 Technical Reports of CPCB/SPCB. Experience: 7 years relevant practical experience in river pollution control, industrial pollution, sewage & environmental management.
- Scientist-C (08 Posts | Age: 45 Years): Same qualification as Scientist-D but impact factor ≥7 OR 3 Books/Chapters OR 3 Technical Reports. Experience: 5 years relevant experience.
- Scientist-B (12 Posts | Age: 35 Years): First class Master’s in Environmental Science/Natural Science OR First Class B.E./B.Tech (relevant branches) + Valid GATE (90%ile+) / NET-JRF. Experience: 3 years relevant experience (research/teaching also considered).
- Assistant Manager (Finance) (03 Posts | Age: 35 Years): First class Master’s in Commerce (Finance & Accounting/Taxation) / CA / MBA (Finance & Accounting). Experience: 8 years post-qualification (Tally, QuickBooks, TDS/GST/PF/ESI returns, payroll, MS Office, tax experience minimum 2 years).
- Administrative Assistant (01 Post | Age: 35 Years): First Class Bachelor’s Degree + working knowledge of computers. Experience: Minimum 5 years administration work in Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies (₹4200 GP or equivalent) + skill test in noting & drafting. Desirable: First Class PG Degree.
- Scientific Assistant (13 Posts | Age: 35 Years): First class Master’s in Environmental Science/Natural Science OR First Class B.E./B.Tech (relevant) + Valid GATE (90%ile+) / NET-JRF.
- Taxonomist (01 Post | Age: 35 Years): First Class M.Sc. Desirable: M.Sc. Botany/Zoology with ≥75% + GATE (90%ile+)/NET-JRF + impact factor ≥7 OR 1 Book/Chapter OR 1 Technical Report of CPCB/SPCB.
- Data Entry Operator (04 Posts | Age: 32 Years): First class Bachelor’s Degree in Science / BCA + Skill test in MS Office + English typing @45 wpm & Hindi typing @35 wpm (computer only).
- Field Assistant (08 Posts | Age: 27 Years): 10+2 in Science with minimum 55% + Knowledge of water/wastewater sampling and sample preservation.
