Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University; must be an enrolled and trained Home Guard of the Bihar Home Guard Organisation; must have completed at least 5 years of service / duty; and must have at least 10 years of remaining service as on the application cut-off date. Must also meet PST / PET standards. |
Age will be reckoned as on 01 August 2026. Further relaxation, if any, will be as per BPSSC / Government of Bihar rules.
Physical standards: Male height — General / BC 165 cm, EBC / SC / ST 160 cm; Female height — 155 cm (all categories). Male chest — General / BC / EBC 81–86 cm, SC / ST 79–84 cm. Female weight — minimum 48 kg.
PET: Male — 1.6 km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds, 16-pound shot put through 16 feet, high jump 4 feet, long jump 12 feet. Female — 1 km run in 6 minutes, 12-pound shot put through 10 feet, high jump 3 feet, long jump 9 feet.
