- Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices: B.A / B.Sc / B.Com / BBA / BCA / BBM or any other Graduate degree (Full Time) from a recognized University.

Candidates must apply through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Portal only. The steps are as follows:-
- Step 1: Visit the NATS Portal → nats.education.gov.in
- Step 2: New users should register as Student and complete enrollment to get 12-digit Enrollment Number.
- Step 3: Login with registered Email ID and Password.
- Step 4: Go to “Apply against advertised vacancies” and search for “PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TAMILNADU”.
- Step 5: Click on Apply and upload the required documents (Provisional Certificate / Consolidated Marksheet).
- Step 6: Submit the application. You will see the status as “Applied”.
Note: Candidates must enter the correct percentage of marks in the NATS portal. Failure to do so will result in rejection of the application.
