Salary as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix:
- Scientist ‘E’ (Level-13): ₹1,23,100 – ₹2,15,900
- Scientist ‘D’ (Level-12): ₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200
- Scientist ‘C’ (Level-11): ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700

Age Limit (as on closing date of advertisement):
- Scientist ‘E’ / ‘D’: Maximum 45 years
- Scientist ‘C’: Maximum 35 years
Age Relaxation: Up to 10 years for PwD, up to 5 years for Central Govt. employees, Ex-Servicemen as per rules. Maximum age shall not exceed 56 years including all relaxations.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Scientist ‘E’: First Class BE/B.Tech + 11 years relevant experience
- Scientist ‘D’: First Class BE/B.Tech / M.Sc + 7 years relevant experience
- Scientist ‘C’: First Class BE/B.Tech / M.Sc / M.Pharm + 3 years relevant experience
