CSIR NPL Technician Recruitment 2026: Apply Offline for 20 Posts. CSIR-National Physical Laboratory (CSIR-NPL), New Delhi under Council of Scientific & Industrial Research has announced Advertisement No. Rectt./02/2026 for recruitment of 20 Technician (1) posts in various trades. This is a golden opportunity for 10th-pass + ITI candidates to join India’s premier National Metrology Institute (NMI) as permanent Group C staff.

Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-2 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix:

  • Basic Pay: ₹19,900/-

Age Limit (as on 30.06.2026): 18–28 years. Age relaxation applicable as per GOI rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen etc.

Educational Qualification & Experience (Common for all trades):

  • SSC / 10th Standard with Science subjects (minimum 55% marks) + ITI / National / State Trade Certificate in relevant trade
  • OR 10th + 2 years full-time Apprentice training in relevant trade
  • OR 10th + 3 years work experience in relevant trade in Government / PSU / Autonomous Body

Post-wise Trade: Electronics, Electrical, COPA, Multimedia Animation & Special Effects, Digital Photographer, Mechanic Motor Vehicle (detailed in notification).
