- Minimum 2 years Certificate in Civil Draftsman from a Government ITI
- Basic Computer Knowledge as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967
- Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi language
- Indian Citizenship as per Rule-7 of Gujarat Civil Service Rules

- First 5 Years: Fixed pay of ₹26,000/month
- After 5 Years: Pay Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)
