TPSC Professor Age Limit:
- Maximum 50 years as on 15th September 2025.
- Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PH/PWD and Government servants as per TME (Administrative & Faculty) Service Regulation Rules, 2015.

TPSC Professor Pay Scales:
- Professor (Super Specialty): ₹37,400 – ₹67,000 (Pre-Revised), Academic Grade Pay ₹10,000, Special Allowances ₹12,000/month, Entry Pay ₹1,44,200 (Academic Level 14, UGC) with proposed 3 additional increments to ₹1,57,600.
TPSC Professor Eligibility Criteria:
- Academic: Post-doctoral qualification DM/M.Ch/DNB (equated to DM/M.Ch as per NMC TEQ Regulations, 2022) in the relevant super specialty, as amended by NMC.
- Experience: 3 years as Associate Professor in the concerned subject at a permitted/recognized medical college/institution; 3 years of special training in the respective super specialty at a teaching institution/centre of excellence with dedicated service.
- Publications: At least 4 research publications (minimum 2 as Associate Professor) in journals listed in Medline, PubMed, Central Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index, Expanded Embase, Scopus, or Directory of Open Access Journals.
- Training: Completion of NMC-recognized basic course in Medical Education Technology and Biomedical Research from NMC-designated institutions.
- Additional: Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) required as per Notification GA(P&T) No.F.23(8)-GA(P&T)/2023 dated 07/07/23.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kok-borok.
