✅ Pay Scale:
Professor: ₹ 1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200/- per month (ACL-14).
Associate Professor: ₹ 1,31,400 – ₹ 2,17,100/- per month (ACL-13A).
Assistant Professor: ₹ 57,700 – ₹ 1,82,400/- per month (ACL-10).
✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years (upper age limit as per Haryana Government norms).
✔️ Educational Qualifications:
Professor (ACL-14):
(1) Doctoral degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Floriculture & Landscape Architecture, Vegetable Science, Post-Harvest Management) or Horticulture with specialization in the respective field.
(2) 10 years’ experience as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor or equivalent, including at least 2 years as Associate Professor in Pay Band-4 (₹37,400–₹67,000) with Grade Pay of ₹8,700/₹9,000 or higher.
(3) Evidence of contributions to research/teaching/extension with published work/patents/innovations.
(4) Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric or higher.
Associate Professor (ACL-13A):
(1) Doctoral degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Vegetable Science, Entomology, Fruit Science, Post-Harvest Management, Agri. Business Management) or Horticulture with specialization in the respective field.
(2) 8 years’ experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent in Pay Band-3 (₹15,600–₹39,100) with Grade Pay of ₹5,400/₹6,000/₹7,000/₹8,000, OR 8 years of high-quality post-doctoral research with at least 6 publications in journals with NAAS rating ≥7.5 as first author.
(3) Contributions to research/teaching/extension with published work/patents/innovations.
(4) Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric or higher.
Assistant Professor (ACL-10):
(1) Master’s degree with 55% marks in relevant discipline (e.g., Bio-Chemistry, Entomology, Floriculture & Landscape Architecture, Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Plant Physiology) or Horticulture/Agriculture with specialization.
(2) NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC/CSIR/ICAR/State, OR Ph.D. as per UGC 2009 regulations (exempted from NET).
(3) 5% relaxation in marks (50% instead of 55%) for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwBD.
(4) Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric or higher.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Shortlisting based on academic/research score as per university criteria.
✔️ Final selection based on performance in the interview.
✔️ Minimum qualifying marks: General Category (50 for Professor/Associate Professor, 40 for Assistant Professor), SC/ST (47.5 for Professor/Associate Professor, 35 for Assistant Professor).
