✅ IISER Kolkata Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Age Limit:
As per Government of India/IISER norms.
✔️ Educational Qualifications:
(1) PhD with First Class or equivalent (60% marks or equivalent CGPA) at the preceding Master’s degree in the relevant branch:
- Biological Sciences: Life/Biosciences/Biochemistry/Chemical Biology/Microbiology/Bioengineering
- Chemical Sciences: Chemistry
- Mathematics and Statistics: Statistics/Mathematics/Related areas
- Physical Sciences: Physics
- Computational and Data Sciences: Computer Science/Data Science
- Humanities and Social Sciences: Economics
(2) At least 3 years of teaching/research/industry experience (excluding PhD period) in the relevant department/thrust area.
(3) Minimum 6 publications as first author in Q1 journals (4 for Mathematics & Statistics and Computational and Data Sciences) in the relevant area.

✔️ Shortlisting by Departmental Faculty Advisory Committee (DFAC) based on academic record, research performance, publications, and teaching aptitude.
✔️ Presentation and interaction with department faculty.
✔️ Review by Institute Faculty Advisory Committee (IFAC) and final selection through interview.
✔️ Only shortlisted candidates will be informed via email about interview schedules.
