✅ Age Limit:
Maximum 58 years as on 01/04/2025. Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, as per Government guidelines for Ex-Servicemen. No upper age limit for NLCIL employees with minimum 2 years of remaining service.
✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Junior Overman (Trainee):
(1) Diploma in Mining or Mining Engineering or equivalent. (2) Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 or equivalent. (3) Valid First Aid Certificate.
✔️ Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I) (SG1 Grade, Rs. 26,000 - 1,10,000/-):
(1) Diploma or Degree in any subject (except Mining Engineering), Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency from DGMS, and Valid First Aid Certificate; OR (2) Diploma in Mining with Overman Competency Certificate from DGMS and Valid First Aid Certificate.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Written Test (100 marks): Part-I (30 marks, General Aptitude: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness at Diploma level) and Part-II (70 marks, Subject Knowledge). Multiple-choice questions, no negative marking, 120 minutes, English only.
✔️ Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for UR/EWS, 40% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL (reserved vacancies). Project Affected Persons (PAPs) eligible for 20 bonus marks.
✔️ Final selection based on merit in written test scores (plus PAP bonus marks, if applicable).
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ Junior Overman: ₹ 595/- (UR/EWS/OBC-NCL), ₹ 295/- (SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen).
✔️ Mining Sirdar: ₹ 486/- (UR/EWS/OBC-NCL), ₹ 236/- (SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen).
✔️ Payment through SBI Collect (online mode) via NLCIL portal. SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen exempted from application fee but pay processing fee.

➢ Eligible candidates must apply online through the NLCIL website (www.nlcindia.in) from 15/04/2025 (10:00 AM) to 14/05/2025 (17:00 PM).
➢ Read the detailed official notification before applying.
➢ Register with a valid email ID and mobile number, then fill personal, educational, and qualification details.
➢ Upload scanned copies of: passport-size photo (JPEG, 50 KB), signature (JPEG, 50 KB), and documents (PDF/JPG, 250 KB each) including Aadhaar, PAN, educational certificates, Competency Certificate, First Aid Certificate, community certificate, PAP documents (if applicable), and proof of Tamil language proficiency.
