The Indian Army invites online applications from unmarried male candidates for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES-55), commencing July 2026. This Permanent Commission entry offers 90 provisional vacancies for candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and appeared in JEE (Mains) 2025. Indian Army TES-54 Vacancy 2025: Details

Age Limit:

Candidates must be aged between 16½ and 19½ years as on 01/01/2026 (born between 02/01/2007 and 01/01/2010, inclusive). Only the date of birth recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary School Certificate is accepted. No changes to the recorded date of birth are permitted.

Eligibility Criteria:

✔️ Nationality: Unmarried male candidates who are citizens of India, subjects of Nepal, or persons of Indian origin from specified countries (with eligibility certificate, if required).
✔️ Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 (Matric with 12th Class) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with a minimum 60% aggregate from recognized boards. Must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2025. PCM percentage must be exact up to two decimal places, without rounding off.
✔️ Other Conditions: Candidates must not have been debarred by UPSC, arrested, convicted, or involved in any court case. They must remain unmarried until training completion.
✔️ Physical Standards: Minimum standards include 2.4 km run in 10:30 minutes, 40 push-ups, 6 pull-ups, 30 sit-ups, squats (2 sets of 30), lunges (2 sets of 10), and basic swimming knowledge.

Training and Degree:

✔️ Duration: 4 years (3 years at Cadets Training Wing + 1 year at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun).
✔️ Locations: Phase-I at CTW (CME Pune, MCTE Mhow, or MCEME Secunderabad); Phase-II at IMA, Dehradun.
✔️ Engineering Streams: Civil & Mechanical (Pune), Telecom & IT (Mhow, Dual Degree), Electrical & Mechanical (Secunderabad).
✔️ Degree: Engineering Degree awarded upon completion. Maximum two relegations allowed on academic grounds; further relegations lead to withdrawal.

Selection Process:

✔️ Shortlisting: Applications screened based on JEE (Mains) 2025.
✔️ SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates attend a 5-day SSB at Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar. Two-stage process: Stage I elimination, Stage II for qualifiers. No compensation for injuries during SSB.
✔️ Medical Exam: Conducted at military hospitals for SSB-recommended candidates.
✔️ Merit List: Based solely on SSB marks. Joining letters issued per vacancy and medical fitness.
✔️ CTW Choice: Candidates select three CTW preferences (Pune, Mhow, Secunderabad); final allocation by Indian Army, no changes allowed.

Salary and Benefits:

✔️ Stipend: ₹ 56,100/- p.m. during training (IMA only).
✔️ Lieutenant Salary: Level 10 (₹ 56,100–₹ 1,77,500), CTC approx. ₹ 17-18 Lakh p.a., including MSP (₹ 15,500/- p.m.), Dress Allowance (₹ 25,000/- p.a.), and other allowances (Dearness, Transport, Children Education, Hostel Subsidy).
✔️ Insurance: ₹ 15 Lakh cover during training (₹ 7,200/- premium); ₹ 1 Cr cover post-stipend (₹ 10,000/- monthly subscription).
✔️ Promotions: From Lieutenant to General, based on service duration and selection.

➢ Fill details accurately, including JEE (Mains) 2025 application number and exact PCM percentage (up to two decimals).
➢ Submit application after each edit; no changes allowed post-closing.
➢ Print two copies of the application (available 30 mins after closing) with Roll Number. Carry one self-attested copy to SSB with:
1. Original and two self-attested copies of Class 10th certificate/marksheet (DOB proof).
2. Original and two self-attested copies of Class 12th certificate/marksheet.
3. Original ID proof.
4. Copy of JEE (Mains) 2025 result.
5. 20 self-attested passport-size photographs.
