✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Age Limit:
Junior Secretariat Assistant: 28 years; Junior Stenographer: 27 years (as on 24/06/2025). Relaxations: SC/ST: +5 years, OBC-NCL: +3 years, PwBD: +10 years, CSIR Departmental Candidates: No age limit.
✔️ Educational Qualifications:
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (General, F&A, S&P): 10+2/XII or equivalent with proficiency in computer typing (35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi).
- Junior Stenographer: 10+2/XII or equivalent with stenography proficiency (80 w.p.m. dictation, transcription: 50 min English/65 min Hindi).
Note: A 3-year diploma after 10th standard is considered equivalent to 10+2, if recognized. Candidates must upload relevant certificates.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Junior Secretariat Assistant (General, F&A, S&P):
- Written Examination: Two papers (OMR/CBT, 200 questions, 2.5 hours; 3 hours 20 min for PwBD with scribe). Paper-I: Mental Ability Test (100 questions, 200 marks, no negative marking). Paper-II: General Awareness & English Language (100 questions, 300 marks, -1 mark per wrong answer). Paper-I is qualifying; merit based on Paper-II.
- Proficiency Test: Computer typing (10 min, 35 w.p.m. English/30 w.p.m. Hindi, qualifying).
✔️ Junior Stenographer:
- Written Examination: One paper (OMR/CBT, 200 questions, 2 hours; 2 hours 40 min for PwBD with scribe). General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 questions, 50 marks), General Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks), English Language & Comprehension (100 questions, 100 marks); -0.25 marks per wrong answer.
- Proficiency Test: Stenography (10 min dictation at 80 w.p.m., transcription: 50 min English/65 min Hindi, qualifying).
