✅ CISF Vacancy 2025: Sports Discipline List
Wushu, Taekwondo, Karate, Pencak Silat, Archery, Kayaking, Canoeing, Rowing, Football, Handball, Gymnastics, Fencing, Kho-Kho, Swimming/ Aquatics, Volleyball, SepakTakraw, Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, Cycling, Athletics, Boxing, Hockey, Shooting, Judo, Kabaddi, Weightlifting, Wrestling and Body Building.
✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Nationality: Indian citizen.
✔️ Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025): 18 – 23 years (born between 02/08/2002 and 01/08/2007). Relaxations: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, Departmental candidates (3 years’ service): 45 years (SC/ST), 40 years (Gen/EWS/OBC).
✔️ Educational Qualification: Matriculation + 12th pass from a recognized institution with credit of representing State/National/International in sports. Non-State/Central Board certificates need GOI equivalence notification.
✔️ Sports Achievements (01/01/2023–06/06/2025):
Individual Event: Represented country in Senior/Junior International tournament, State in National Games/Championship (Senior/Junior), medal in All India Inter-University Championship, or Gold in National School Games/Championship.
Team Event: Represented country in Senior/Junior International tournament, State in National Games/Championship (Senior/Junior), medal-winning team in All India Inter-University Championship, or Gold in National School Games/Championship. Certificates from recognized federations (Appendix A–D) required.
✔️ Physical Standards:
Male: Height: 167 cm (160 cm for ST/hill areas), Chest: 81–86 cm (min. 5 cm expansion). Female: Height: 153 cm (same for ST/hill areas), no chest requirement. Weight proportionate to height/age.
✔️ Medical Standards: No knock knee, flat foot, bow legs, squint eyes, varicose veins. Tattoos permitted on inner left forearm/dorsum of hands, size <1/4 of part, respecting religious sentiments.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Stage 1: Trial Test, Proficiency Test, Physical Standard Test (PST), Documentation Verification.
✔️ Stage 2: Medical Examination.
✔️ Final merit based on Proficiency Test and highest sports achievement. Tie-breaker: younger candidate, then alphabetical order.
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ ₹ 100/- for UR/ OBC/ EWS.
✔️ No fee for Female/ SC/ ST.
✔️ The fee should be made through Online Payment via Net Banking, Credit/ Debit/ Rupay cards, UPI, or SBI Challan.
