✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years for all categories as on the closing date of application.
✔️ Educational Qualifications:
Non-ITI Category:
(1) Passed Madhyamik (Class X or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks as per the concerned Board.
(2) Minimum 40% marks in both Mathematics and Science.
Ex-ITI Category:
(1) Passed relevant ITI trade test from an institute recognized by NCVT/SCVT with minimum 50% marks.
(2) Passed Madhyamik (Class X or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks.
(3) Trade must align with the schedule of the Trade Apprentices Act 1961.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Merit-based selection:
- Non-ITI: Based on the overall percentage of marks in Class X (aggregate or best of 5 subjects as per Board criteria).
- Ex-ITI: Based on the simple average of percentage marks in Class X and ITI.
✔️ Tie-breaking: Preference given to older candidates, then earlier Matriculation certificate year, then alphabetical order of names.
✔️ Provisionally selected candidates will undergo document verification and medical examination.

➢ Candidates must download the application form from the CFA website and fill it in BLOCK LETTERS.
➢ Submit the completed application form with self-attested copies of required documents to: The Chief General Manager, Cordite Factory, Aruvankadu, The Nilgiris District, Tamil Nadu, Pin – 643202 by post.
➢ The envelope must be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE INDUCTION OF TRADE APPRENTICES - (ATTENDANT OPERATOR CHEMICAL PLANT)”.
➢ The candidates must upload following documents:
(a) Recent color photograph (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm, taken after 31/12/2024).
(b) Self-attested copies of Aadhaar Card (or other ID), Class X mark sheet, ITI certificate (for Ex-ITI), caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC), and Physical Disability certificate (if applicable).
(c) Proof of address (e.g., bank passbook, voter ID, etc.).
