✅ Age Limit:
28 years as on 31/05/2025. Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10 years for PwBD (15 years for SC-PwBD, 13 years for OBC-PwBD), and as per GoI rules for Ex-Servicemen, Widows, Divorced Women, and Judicially Separated Women (up to 35 years, 40 years for SC/ST). No age limit for CSIR employees with required qualifications.
✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Junior Secretariat Assistant (General, Store & Purchase, Finance & Accounts):
(1) 10+2/ XII (Matriculation with 12th Class) Pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.
(2) Proficiency in computer typing: 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi (10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on average of 5 key depressions per word).
(3) Proficiency in using computers as per DoPT/CSIR norms.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Written Examination: Two papers (Paper-I: Mental Ability Test, qualifying; Paper-II: General Awareness and English Language, merit-based).
✔️ Typing Proficiency Test: Qualifying in nature (35 w.p.m. English or 30 w.p.m. Hindi).
✔️ Merit list based on Paper-II marks for candidates qualifying Paper-I and typing test.
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ ₹500/- for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates.
✔️ No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/CSIR Employees/Ex-Servicemen.
✔️ Payment through online mode via CIMAP recruitment portal.

➢ Complete the application in four steps: Registration, Fee Submission, Application Submission, and Dispatch of Hard Copy.
➢ Upload photo (≤200 KB) and signature (≤50 KB), and enter personal, educational, and other details.
➢ Pay the application fee online.
➢ Send the printout of the online application with self-attested documents (10th/12th certificates, caste/PwBD/EWS certificates, experience certificates, etc.) to: Controller of Administration, CSIR-CIMAP, Post Office-CIMAP, Lucknow-226015 by 16/06/2025 via speed/registered post.
