Ordnance Factory Medak (OFMK), a unit of Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) under the Ministry of Defence, invites offline applications from eligible Indian nationals for the engagement of Junior Technician (Contract) posts on a Fixed Tenure Contract basis. Applications must be received within 21 days from the date of publication in Employment News paper (tentatively 10.05.2025).

✅ Age Limit (as on 12.04.2025):
- 18–30 years for General candidates.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST (reserved posts), 3 years for OBC (NCL, reserved posts), 10 years for PwBD (UR), 13 years for PwBD (OBC), 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST), period of training for Ex-Apprentices (per Apprentices Act), 1 year per completed year of relevant post-qualification experience (max 7 years), Ex-Servicemen (30 years + 3 years after deducting service period, plus 5 years for SC, 3 years for OBC). Maximum age with all relaxations: 55 years.
✅ Educational Qualifications & Experience:
✔️ Junior Technician (Examiner Engineering): NAC/NTC in Fitter (Electronics) from NCVT. Minimum 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). Experience: 2 years in relevant areas with knowledge of drawings and specifications. Desirable: Knowledge of BMP Tanks (T90/TT2) assemblies.
✔️ Junior Technician (Fitter General): NAC/NTC in Fitter General, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance, or Tool & Die Maker from NCVT. Minimum 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). Experience: 2 years in relevant areas with knowledge of drawings and specifications. Desirable: Knowledge of BMP Tanks (T90/TT2) assemblies.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Shortlisting based on NTC/NAC marks (100% weightage, minimum 65%, relaxed to 55% for SC/ST/PwBD). Ex-Trade Apprentices of AVNL units get 5 extra marks.
✔️ Shortlist limited to 1.5 times the vacancies; candidates undergo Document Verification.
✔️ Trade Test (qualifying: FIT/UNFIT) conducted at Ordnance Factory Medak, Yeddumailaram, Sangareddy, Telangana.
✔️ Final merit list based on NTC/NAC marks; ties resolved by older age (DOB).
✔️ Shortlist and results published only on AVNL Official website. No postal call letters.
✔️ Selection subject to medical fitness, character/antecedent verification, and caste certificate validation (for reserved categories).
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ ₹100/- (via e-MRO, payable to AVNL OFMK account; details on website).
✔️ Exempted for SC/ST/PwBD/Female candidates.
