The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is expected to release the DSSSB PRT Vacancy notification in December 2023 or January 2024. There will be more than 2000 Primary Teacher Vacancies available in government-aided schools in Delhi.

Age Limit for DSSSB Primary Teacher 2024:
- The minimum age for applicants is 18 years.
- Maximum age should not exceed 30 years.
- Please note that minimum age should be 18 years. Age relaxation for candidates from reserved categories, ex-servicemen, or those with physical disabilities will be granted in accordance with the instructions and orders issued by the Government of India from time to time.
Pay Scale Salary for DSSSB Primary Teacher 2024:
- Pay Band – 2 ₹ 9300 – 34800 plus Grade Pay ₹ 4200/-. ₹ 35400/- as per pay matrix (revised).
Eligibility Criteria for DSSSB Primary Teacher 2024:
- Minimum 10th to 12th class (XII std.) or 10+2 education or Senior Secondary or Intermediate, or SSC or an equivalent qualification passed from a government-recognized board.
- After completing 10+2, candidates should hold a 2-year Diploma certificate or an equivalent qualification in a Teacher Education course or Junior Basic Training, or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, they should have a Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.Ed.) from a government-recognized institution or university.
- Candidates must have passed the Hindi language subject at the Secondary level.
- Candidates must have passed the English language subject at the Secondary or Senior Secondary level.
- Candidates must have passed or qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). This is a crucial eligibility requirement for Delhi Teacher Jobs.
