Age Limit:
✔️ No upper age restriction for apprenticeship training as per Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
✔️ Minimum age is 14 years and for hazardous occupations it is 18 years according to ‘The Apprentices Act 1961.
✔️ The candidates born on or before 02 May 2010 are eligible.
Educational Qualifications:
✔️ Minimum 55% Marks Matriculation or 10th Standard or SSC Pass from a recognized board.
✔️ Minimum 65% Marks ITI (NCVT / SCVT) in relevant trade from a recognized Institute / University.
✔️ Candidates passed during Covid-19 pandemic having certificates without marks/ grade points/ pass percentage shall be made eligible separately for appearing written examination subject.

Indian Navy Apprentice monthly stipend is ₹ 7700/- for one year and ₹ 8050/- for two years of ITI certificate holders

✅ How to Apply Indian Navy Apprentice Recruitment 2023:
- Begin the registration process on the online portal at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
- Ensure that the name and date of birth on both the Aadhar card and SSC/matriculation certificate match. Rectify any disparities by updating the Aadhar card details to align with the SSC certificate.
- Visit www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and click on the 'Register' module on the homepage. Choose the 'Candidate' form from the dropdown menu.
- Explore 'Apprenticeship Opportunities' on the homepage and select 'Search by Establishment Name.' Enter "NAVAL DOCKYARD" (Establishment ID: E08152800002) in uppercase and choose Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam. A list of trades available at Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam, will be displayed. Select "Apply" for the desired trade, following apprenticeship portal guidelines.
- After applying for the trade, generate a printout of the complete profile for submission to DAS (Vzg) along with the application.
- Print two copies of the hall ticket format from the official notification. Complete them with a ballpoint pen and affix a recent passport-sized color photograph in the designated box.
- Compile the apprentice profile, two original hall tickets, and all relevant documents, including photocopies. Place them in an envelope (indicating the trade name on the cover).
- Dispatch the package via post to "The Officer-in-Charge (for Apprenticeship), Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, VM Naval Base S.O., P.O., Visakhapatnam - 530 014, Andhra Pradesh."
- The deadline for the receipt of applications at DAS (V) is 01/01/2024.
